1. Planning and waiting almost over

We're heading to France for another adventure, during most of the month of October, 2016. This trip we'll explore two different regions: the famous Loire Valley for about a week, then to Burgundy for two weeks. Lynn rented a room for us in a restored Manor in the Loire, and then a small house for two weeks in a tiny village in Burgundy. Our great friends Jack & Sherye Cook, and Linda Albritton & Andy Helgesen, are traveling with us to the Loire. After our week together there, we are on our own. As usual, we have a limited pre-planned itenerary, mostly designed by Lynn to get us there and get us home! I plan to bicycle as much as possible, and we'll have a rental car so we can explore further afield. Lynn has lots of books and ideas; we will NOT be bored.
